Can I see a whole AI-generated children's book before signing up?
Yes. Every book on this page opens free in the 3D book player, without an account, so you can turn every page of a picture book, a coloring book or a puzzle book as it was laid out for print. Each book page also shows its listing description and its opening pages.
How were these books made?
Each one started as a description typed into kdpbook's chat, or as a manuscript its author imported. kdpbook planned the book, wrote the text (unless the author brought their own), drew the cover art and the illustrations, and laid out every page at the book's KDP trim size. Authors can then edit any page in the editor, by hand or with AI rewrites and image redraws.
Do the example books carry a watermark?
Only the books of free-plan accounts: they carry a “kdpbook.io preview” watermark on every page, in the 3D reader and in their exported files, and they are not for sale. The card of such a book on this page says so. Paid plans, from $25/month, export the same book without the watermark and with a commercial license.
Can I make a book like one of these?
Yes. Each book page has a “Make a book like this” button that starts a new draft from the same recipe: book type, art style, reader age and print format, with your own story. New accounts get 2,000 free credits once, with no card required, enough for a 32-page picture book at default settings.
Would a book like these need an AI disclosure on Amazon KDP?
Yes. KDP requires publishers to declare AI-generated content (text, images or translations) when they publish a book or republish it after edits, and content an AI tool created still counts as AI-generated after substantial edits (KDP Help: Content Guidelines, checked September 28, 2026). The listing sheet kdpbook exports pre-fills the disclosure answers from what was generated.
Why are the coloring, puzzle and journal examples print only?
KDP's Guide to Kindle Content Quality lists puzzle books, blank journals and coloring books among the books not suited to the Kindle format, because their main purpose is to let the reader write or color on the pages (checked September 28, 2026). kdpbook makes coloring, puzzle, activity and journal books as print books only.
Do these examples show how well AI-generated books sell?
No. They show what the finished books look like, page by page. kdpbook.io publishes no sales figures, and nobody can promise that KDP accepts a book or that it sells.
