“Per month” is how many books of that kind the smallest plan that covers one can make with its monthly credits. Puzzle pages and planner templates are generated by code, which is why they cost so little.

Before launch you see the credit estimate of your exact book: pages, words, illustrations and cover, line by line.

At launch the estimate is held from your balance (plus up to 5% headroom). Nothing is charged twice, even if you retry.

Charge what's produced
Each page, illustration and cover is charged as it is made. Failed images are retried at no extra cost.

Release the rest
When the book is done, or if you cancel, every credit that wasn't used goes back to your balance automatically.

Pricing questions
How do credits work?
Every book gets a credit estimate before you launch it. We hold that estimate (plus up to 5% headroom) while the book is made, charge what is actually produced, and release the rest automatically.
What do I get for free?
New accounts get 600 credits once, with no card required. That covers a complete 32-page picture book (about 449 credits). Free books carry a preview watermark and are shared in the community.
Can I buy more credits without changing plan?
Yes. Subscribers can buy one-off credit packs at any time, with a discount on the Author and Studio plans. Packs are for subscribers only.
What does editing cost after the book is made?
Editing text, fonts and layout by hand is free. An AI rewrite costs 3 credits, and redrawing an illustration costs the same as drawing it the first time. Exports and the KDP listing sheet are always included.
Can I publish the books commercially?
Yes, from the Starter plan up: paid plans include a commercial license and watermark-free exports. You must declare AI-generated content to KDP when you publish.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You keep your plan until the end of the billing period, and the books you made stay in your account.
Is there a limit to how many books I can publish?
Not on our side beyond your credits. KDP itself currently allows 2 new titles per format per week, so plan releases accordingly.
