What KDPEasy is

Book Studio, a workspace with four modes (Design, Cover, Listing, Publish). It offers 205 editable page layouts for planners, journals, logbooks and activity pages; an AI cover generator with 12 art styles and 12 moods that makes full-wrap covers for KDP's 16 trim sizes; a coloring book creator (AI line art in six styles, up to 100 pages); seven puzzle creators (word search, sudoku, crossword, mazes, kakuro, KenKen, number search); keyword research with opportunity scores; a KDP quality checker; and a Chrome extension (beta) that researches Amazon and saves finished books as KDP drafts for you to review.

Where it shines

  • A Chrome extension (beta, paid plans) that fills KDP's forms and saves a draft; you still review and publish in KDP.
  • Research built in: keyword opportunity scores and Amazon scans on 8 marketplaces (prices, reviews, sales ranks).
  • Cover depth: 12 art styles, 12 moods, 13 templates to restyle, and unlimited CMYK conversions on paid plans.
  • Free to start: 10 credits with no card (about two covers, watermarked), and many free calculators and generators, most without an account.
  • A listing editor that tracks all 7 keyword slots and 3 categories, with a royalty estimate.

KDPEasy pricing

  • Starter $19/month (35 credits, up to 7 covers), Pro $49 (100 credits, 20 covers), Power User $79 (250 credits, 50 covers); annual billing is advertised as 2 months free.
  • One cover generation costs 5 credits. Credit packs start at $7.50; their credits never expire but cost more per credit, and packs alone don't include the Chrome extension.
  • 10 free credits once you confirm your email, no card; work made with them carries a sample watermark.
  • Extension allowances per month: 100, 400 or 1,000 Amazon research scans and 5, 20 or 50 KDP upload assists.

Questions

Is kdpbook.io a KDPEasy alternative?

For making the book, yes: kdpbook.io writes, illustrates and lays out complete books and exports the interior, the full-wrap cover, a Kindle eBook and a listing sheet. For keyword research or saving KDP drafts from the browser, no: kdpbook.io does neither, and you can use both.

Does KDPEasy publish books to KDP for you?

No. On paid memberships its Chrome extension fills KDP's forms and saves the book as a draft; you review it and press publish in KDP. kdpbook.io gives you the files and a listing sheet that you upload yourself.

Can both make puzzle and coloring books?

Yes. KDPEasy lists seven puzzle creators and a coloring creator with six line-art styles. kdpbook.io generates puzzle pages by code, checks that they're solvable and adds solutions (a 108-page puzzle book ≈ 460 credits), and makes coloring books (106 pages ≈ 1,803 credits).
