How a counting book is laid out

The numbers 1 to 10, one per spread: the picture shows exactly that many of one simple thing (1 sun, 2 boats, 3 ducks…), whole, the same size and well apart on a calm background so a toddler can point and count; the facing page shows the number and a short line ('Three little ducks go splash!'). The last page counts everything again or says goodnight.

The default voice is playful & silly: giggles, sound effects, absurd situations. You can change the audience, tone and length in the Story step.
