You can publish one if you hold commercial rights to the text and images and you disclose the AI-generated content when you publish; KDP still reviews every title. Rights depend on the tool and plan: Childbook.ai lists a commercial license on Business only, kdpbook.io on paid plans, Lullaby.ink once you buy the story, and KindFable's FAQ describes its books as yours to keep, print, gift and share with your family.
Which AI children's book generators keep characters consistent?
kdpbook.io (a reference sheet per main character), Childbook.ai (from descriptions or photos), Story.com Storybook Publisher and C2Story all document it. KDP Builder and StoryBee don't describe how they handle it.
What trim size should a picture book use on KDP?
KDP doesn't impose one size. Story.com and C2Story list 8.5 × 8.5, 8 × 10 and 8.5 × 11 in; kdpbook.io defaults to 8.5 × 8.5 in and offers 7 KDP trims, with bleed so the art can run to the edge of the page.
