Winston and the Christmas Roof

Winston is Santa’s golden retriever, and he is eager to help deliver a rocking horse through the snowy Christmas night. But the present is hiding inside a cottage-shaped parcel, and the horse is much harder to move than Winston expected.

First, the box won’t budge. Then the horse’s curved wooden feet scoop up snow, and a trolley’s wheels sink into the drifts. With Santa’s sleigh waiting and an important present still to load, Winston watches, thinks, and looks for another way to help. Could a curious discovery beside his favorite blanket be just what they need?

Warm, gently funny, and full of snowy surprises, this picture-book adventure celebrates a determined pup, a caring partnership, and the joy of finding a clever way forward. A cozy Christmas read-aloud for preschoolers and families to share.
