The Great Clocktower Dash

The parade is almost ready—but the big clock has gone quiet. Kit wants to see the lantern parade, and there is no time to waste. With tap-tapping shoes and Pip close behind, Kit hurries past apples, over roofs, and up steps toward the clocktower. But a little nest and one stubborn twig call for a different kind of dash: Kit must slow down and help, while the parade waits for its signal.

Will Kit and Pip get the clock going in time? The Great Clocktower Dash brings together a lively chase, a gentle moment of care, and the anticipation of a town ready to glow. Repeating sounds—tap-tap, yap-yap, knock-knock, and tick-tock—invite little listeners to join the rhythm as the story moves from busy footsteps to a quiet pause.

Made for babies and toddlers ages 0–3, this illustrated read-aloud is a cheerful choice for sharing together. Its rhythmic words are easy to say aloud, while Kit and Pip’s dash offers young children a warm, simple story about noticing when something needs gentle help.
