Milo and the Little Star

by Tharunnii Bandaoru

Milo loves the night sky, especially Twinkle, the tiny golden star that shines brighter than all the others. But one chilly evening, Twinkle’s place in the sky is empty. When Milo finds the pale, fallen star beneath an old oak, he promises to help it get home before its light fades away.

Milo tries jumping, then climbs a tall ladder, but the sky is still too far away. With Barnaby the owl ready to help, Milo sets off on a daring journey above the houses and through the cold night air. Yet even wings cannot carry them all the way to the stars. As Twinkle grows dimmer, Milo must find another way to help his friend shine again. Can kindness and a familiar lullaby make a difference?

A gentle bedtime adventure about friendship, courage, and the warmth of caring for someone in need. Milo and Twinkle’s nighttime journey makes a cozy read-aloud for preschoolers and a sweet story to share before bed.

Milo loved the night sky. Every evening, he sat by his window and counted the glowing lights above.
"Twinkle, where are you?" Milo whispered into the dark.
Suddenly, he saw a tiny golden light flicker under the old oak tree.
