About kdpbook.io: who builds it and how we check KDP rules.

kdpbook.io is an AI book studio for Amazon KDP: an AI book generator that turns a one-sentence idea, or your own manuscript (Word, PDF, Markdown or plain text), into a KDP-ready book. It writes, illustrates and typesets 36 book types and exports the interior PDF, the full-wrap cover PDF, a Kindle eBook (EPUB) and the Amazon listing, in 34 KDP languages. kdpbook.io is made by THE VIBECODING AGENCY in Paris and is not affiliated with Amazon.

Who we are

kdpbook.io is built and operated by THE VIBECODING AGENCY, a SARL registered in Paris, France (RCS Paris, SIREN 108 800 616) on August 15, 2026. It was founded by Arsène Huot, who runs the company and builds the product. kdpbook.io opened to the public on September 26, 2026.

We design the book engine, the page layouts and the prompts, keep the KDP rulebook in the code up to date, and write the guides, calculators and comparisons on this site. Before a KDP number goes on a page, we check it against KDP Help: see how we keep the KDP rules accurate. kdpbook.io is independent and not affiliated with Amazon. kdpbook.io is not KDPBook Link (kdpbook.link), a separate service that makes universal Amazon book links, and is not related to kdpbook.com.

Why kdpbook exists

AI can write a story and paint a picture in seconds. Turning that into a book people can buy still takes days: the right trim size, margins that grow with the page count, bleed on the right edges, a spine sized to the paper, a cover that wraps exactly, a Kindle file that behaves, and a listing that follows Amazon’s rules. Most AI tools stop at the text or the image. We built kdpbook to do the whole job.

How it works

  1. You describe your book in a sentence, or set every detail step by step, or import your manuscript.
  2. kdpbook plans the book, writes it, locks the main characters on reference sheets and illustrates every page in one style.
  3. The layout engine applies KDP’s rules to every page and every cover, and you edit anything with a live preview.
  4. You export the interior PDF, the cover PDF, the Kindle eBook and a listing sheet, ready to upload to KDP.

We call this vibe publishing: you describe a book and get the finished book, the way vibe-coding tools such as Lovable turn a description into a working app (kdpbook.io is not affiliated with Lovable).

How we keep the KDP rules accurate

Every KDP number on this site and in the app comes from one rulebook in our code: trim sizes, page limits, margins, bleed, spine factors, cover geometry, printing costs and royalties. We check it against KDP’s help pages and KDP’s own cover and royalty calculators, record where each number comes from, and flag the places where KDP’s sources disagree. The free KDP calculators and the guides read from the same rulebook, so they can’t drift from what the app builds.

What we promise, and what we don’t

  • You see a credit estimate before every book, and you only pay for what is produced.
  • We tell you what to declare to KDP: the text kdpbook writes and the images it draws are AI-generated, a manuscript you wrote and import stays your own text, and the export sheet pre-fills the answers.
  • We don’t promise that KDP will accept a book, that it will sell, or how much it will earn. Amazon decides what it publishes, and readers decide what they buy.
  • We don’t publish testimonials, logos or statistics we can’t back up.

How we write guides and comparisons

Guides, calculators, comparisons and roundups are published under the kdpbook.io editorial byline. We draft them with the help of AI tools and check them against the sources listed on each page.

  • KDP numbers come from the rulebook described above, and every guide and calculator lists the KDP Help pages it relies on, with the date they were checked.
  • Every guide, calculator, comparison and roundup shows when it was published and last updated. The update date moves when we change the page or re-check the KDP rules it uses.
  • Comparisons and roundups describe each tool from its own public pages (features, pricing, help), read on the date printed on the page and listed as sources; when a point comes from a third-party review instead, that review is listed too. We name each tool’s real strengths, write “Not documented” when its pages don’t say, and don’t rank tools. In roundups kdpbook.io is listed first, and the page says it’s because we make it.
  • Found a mistake? Write to us (below): we correct the page and update its date.
