Victor and the Vanishing Snacks
by ChubbyFamily
Victor has two buns, cheese, six strawberries, and a very hungry tummy. His picnic beneath the apple tree is ready—until a splendid burp, a soft shuffling sound, and a plump cloth bundle with all his snacks inside send him scrambling after lunch!
The picnic cloth seems to have a mind of its own. It scoots downhill, wedges beneath a bridge, and swallows Victor’s food whenever his tummy makes a noise. Victor can’t let his picnic vanish every time he’s about to take a bite. With a fallen twig, a clever idea, and plenty of determination, he must outsmart those flippy corners before hunger gets the better of him.
With playful sounds, silly surprises, and a resourceful preschool hero, Victor’s picnic chase makes a lively read-aloud for little listeners who love funny adventures and a rumbling tummy.
