Spiky is eager to join Clover and Pip’s bubble game, but every time a bubble drifts close, his quills make it pop. Feeling left out, he begins to wonder whether bubbles—and their game—are meant for him.

With patient encouragement from his rabbit and squirrel friends, Spiky discovers a new way to join in: a fallen leaf becomes a little green boat for catching bubbles. Soon the friends are sharing turns, trying gentle ideas, and laughing together—even when a bubble surprises them with a pop.
