Princess Vera’s Garden Map

by anxhela xhelili

One tiny seat. One mysterious spiral. And a garden path that refuses to go as planned.

When Princess Vera finds a map beneath the terrace table, she spots a little seat tucked inside a curl and sets off to find it. But the shortest route ends in a puddle, and a worn fold has erased the place where the spiral begins. Vera takes the long way around, climbs for a better view, and discovers that the garden holds a very peculiar surprise: an enormous snail shaped from hedge.

Now Vera must find a way into its curling form. Gaps are blocked by leaves and twigs, and the secret seat seems close enough to touch—but how can she reach it? With muddy toes, a careful eye, and plenty of curiosity, Vera searches for a way through.

Princess Vera’s Garden Map is a gentle picture-book adventure for ages 3–5, full of playful turns, leafy details, and satisfying moments to spot together. Enjoy it as a cozy read-aloud about curiosity, patience, and finding your way.

Something waited beneath the terrace table.
That puddle was much too wide to jump.
Vera pulled her toe back onto dry ground.
