Princess Emine: Defender of Driftwood Kingdom

When a gust of wind threatens the sandcastles and treasures of Driftwood, six-year-old Emine knows her imagined kingdom needs a defender. On the shore of Lake Erie, she becomes Princess Emine, crowns herself with seashells and seaweed, and sets out to protect the sandy home she has built.

Riding her towel-steed, Emine meets Charlie the crab and a school of playful fish. Together, they face the mischievous wind and discover a buried treasure chest containing a map. Its clues may show Emine and her new allies how to build sand barriers—but can they secure the kingdom before the wind sweeps through again?

This imaginative beach adventure brings pretend play, teamwork, and a determined young hero together in a story to enjoy with early readers or share aloud. A lively choice for children who love sandcastles, seaside settings, and make-believe adventures.
