Iulia and the Plastic Tide

Iulia can walk beneath the sea, where shells click in his basket and drifting plastic moves with the current. His young sea turtle friend has a sandy bed—but a crumpled sheet, a rolling cup, and more debris keep settling where there should be room to rest.

Iulia wants to help. First he waits for the plastic to drift away. Then he tries moving it, only to watch the current carry it back. With his basket already full of treasured shells, he faces a difficult choice: what can he give up to make space for what his friend needs?

Iulia and the Plastic Tide is a gently humorous underwater adventure about friendship, changing course, and finding a thoughtful way to care for a shared home. Its playful sounds and vivid, growing pile invite young readers to follow along and wonder what they might choose when helping someone means letting go.
