“A picture book about a curious little octopus who collects sea glass. Inka lives in a rocky cove and keeps every smooth piece of sea glass she finds in her shell cave: bottle-green, sky-blue, amber, a rare ruby-red one. One night a big storm tumbles her whole collection across the reef. As she searches, she finds each piece already in use by a neighbor: a hermit crab has made a window of her blue glass, a pufferfish uses the amber one as a night-light, a sea turtle's baby sleeps beside the green one. Instead of taking them back, Inka has an idea and the whole reef builds a glowing sea-glass mosaic together on the big rock, where the morning sun shines through every color.
