《大自然的小秘密》

What wakes beneath the spring soil, and where do the geese go when autumn arrives? Follow a curious young squirrel as the seasons turn and nature’s little secrets come to life.

In spring, rain reaches a sleeping seed and a green shoot pushes into the sunshine. Bees visit flowers as the squirrel explores a world waking up. Summer brings cicada songs, a frog’s pond-side concert, sun-following sunflowers, and a rainbow after rain. When cooler winds arrive, apples and pears ripen, leaves dance down, and the squirrel gathers food for winter. Snow settles over the forest, some trees and flowers stand bright against the cold, and the sleeping woodland waits for signs of change.

As the year moves from growing and gathering to resting and waking, the squirrel invites young readers to notice the sounds, colors, and small wonders all around. What will you spot on your next walk through nature?

With playful sounds, familiar seasonal scenes, and a gentle read-aloud rhythm, this picture book offers preschoolers and grown-ups a cozy way to share a story and look closely at the changing world.
